About the Authors
Conrad G. Lucas II
 |
Born in the mountains of West Virginia, Conrad Gale Lucas II considers himself a writer, academic, lawyer, politico, and part-time anything else. He has worked in every environment from education to big tobacco and holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt (where he is also working on a doctorate in his spare time), a master’s degree from Harvard, and a law degree from Tulane. A lifelong Francophile, he earned a certificate in international law at La Sorbonne. He currently practices law in West Virginia but at any given moment could be in Nashville, New Orleans, Oxford, Mississippi, or anywhere else in the American South, depending on his mood. Never one to let moss grow under his feet, he is always planning his next European adventure. |
William D. Norgard
 |
William D. Norgard was born in the rustbelt in the late 1970s and spent his formative years in Cleveland, Ohio. Later, he attended Cornell University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in history, then worked for several years in London and New York as a banker and consultant, respectively. Later, he returned to the United States to attend Cardozo Law School and subsequently graduated in 2008. It was during those years that he took opportunities to internationally enhance his tradecraft at Sorbonne-Paris I. Often returning to Europe a few times a year, he frequently makes Paris a stopover if there is any way to rationalize it. He resides in New York City, helps manage the family farm in Kansas, and is looking for something meaningful to do but would prefer to continue writing and traveling. Currently, Mr. Norgard is on loan to the U.S. Army and training at
Ft. Huachuca, Arizona." |
